About Me

Edit- January 2014: Since the started writing my blog I have gone on to author two books which have been published, on technical subjects (The Indian Companies Act, 2013). Thank you for all the support.

Edit – May 2016 – Have gone on to be an Elected Member in Institute of Chartered Accountants of India by fellow Chartered Accountants. I credit the improvement in my quality of writing and speaking, required to be elected to this role, to this blog

Hello to you all. I’m Abhishek Murali and I am a Chartered Accountant and an Entrepreneur. I am an aspiring writer. My habit of writing began with writing regular articles at school and technical articles in CA Circles. Surely enough, more people, friends from school, classes and work-place suggested I should write more often. Probably a blog.

I’ve had a few failed attempts are regularly writing a blog but Im determined to make this one last. More about me is that I am a film buff and critic and I am a huge football fan(Arsenal FC for life B-) ). I also enjoy listening to Classic Rock and listen to some Metal and listen to the occasional house, rap or hip-hop song. I am an avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction and I prefer the latter to the former.

As my profession might suggest, I am highly intrigued by finance, business and economy and follow and read up on the same religiously.

This blog is a reflection of my views, opinions, thoughts and every god damn thing I want to communicate.

Please feel free to communicate your views, thoughts and complaints about the content, or anything else, to me at any time. You can reach me at abhishekmurali@gmail.com.
